I love that Who What Wear started doing monthly fashion features. This month’s story, entitled Cruel Summer, is a homage to those of us who choose not to escape the city during the hot summer months, and instead embrace it.
During the hazy days of summer, when the preppy masses head to the Hamptons and the moneyed bohemians make for Malibu, the cities remain feverishly fashionable. After all, no matter how sizzling the sidewalks get, street style never takes a vacation! In celebration of this spirit—this metropolitan mettle, if you will—our July editorial shows off a few of the season’s toughest looks, accessorized with plenty of asphalt and attitude.
Yep. I don’t really do the Hamptons or go down to the shore. I prefer walking the streets of ny (sometimes with a crew)… doing brunch, going to the park, visiting friends in shops/bars/restaurants. But that’s just me.
Anyway this studded leather vest is hot.
